Eligibility for Inspire Scholarships in 2021

The Inspire scholarship programme is only open to students who meet the following requirements.

Eligibility for a Post-Secondary Education

  • The top 1% of meritorious students in any state or central school board’s 12th grade.
  • Students with a JEE or NEET rating of less than 10,000 can apply for the Inspire scholarship 2021.
  • Students studying a BSc, BS, or Int.MSc/MS in basic and natural science who meet any of the aforementioned criteria are eligible for the Inspire scholarship programme 2021.
  • ISERs, NISER, and the Department of Atomic Energy’s Centre for Basic Sciences students are also eligible.
  • The Inspire Scholarship Program is open to Jagdish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholars and International Olympiad medalists pursuing UG or PG courses in Natural Sciences .

Scholarships to Inspire 2020 is the deadline.

The cutoff is the minimal score required to be considered for the DST Inspire SHE scholarship. The prize is awarded to students who received the same or higher grades in their 12th grade results. They can look up their names in the list of Inspire candidates.

Result of the Inspire Scholarship in 2021

The DST Inspire scholarship results will be announced online in the last week of June 2022. By logging into the online portal, students can view their findings. The selection and rejection lists are also available on the official website. The student’s IVR number, name, and father’s name will be included on these lists. Students may also investigate why they were turned down.

Inspire Scholarship Renewal

The scholarship’s renewal is largely determined on the candidate’s performance.

  • Within 12 months following the announcement of the results, students must submit their performance report and result marksheet.
  • Only candidates with a 60 percent or higher grade point average (7.0 GPA or above) in their university/college exams will be considered for the DST Inspire scholarship 2020.
  • Students who do not show up for their tests or who do not meet the minimum requirements are not eligible for the award.
